uke is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University with degrees in Food Service Management and Baking and Pastry Arts. While attending the university, he began working with event designers and florists in the Charleston area. In 2004, growing from a deep love of all aspects of event planning, design and coordination, Luke Wilson Special Events was created and the response was wonderful!
In 2012, in an effort to expand his horizons, Luke moved to New York City to cater to clients from far off who travel to beautiful Charleston, South Carolina as well as clients who were requesting his services both in New York and surrounding cities. Luke handles roughly 12 custom events each along the east coast, throughout the country and internationally.
Luke now assists bridal clients, non-bridal clients, restaurants and companies with anything from event coordination and design, interior design, personal shopping to bridal styling and travel assistance. An avid traveler, he is often meeting with clients in their own homes or business to make the planning process easier. He will come to you, no matter where you are! Luke's philosophy is that everyday of your life should be a special event, so why limit great design and coordination to just weddings?
